THINGS TO SEE & DO

Grand Canyon
Las Vegas is just an 8-hour drive from the Grand Canyon. But, if you’re like us you can’t imagine being away from Sin City for that long. That’s why you can take to the air to see The Canyon via helicopter – and even land inside it. The two and a half hour tour is a bit pricier, but gives you breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and The Strip. Plus, you can go, and return to the city before most people wake up.

Bellagio Fountains
Most casinos offer free shows in front of their casinos, but there’s one that’s absolutely mesmerizing – the Bellagio Fountains. This 8.5-acre lake comes to life every 15 minutes between 3 PM and Midnight, shooting water up to 460 feet in the air from 1,214 different sprtizers. The water is perfectly choreographed to music and is an incredible spectacle to behold.

Richard Petty Driving Experience
Think nothing is as exhilarating as Vegas? Guess again. At the Richard petty Driving Experience, you’ll get to feel the rush of what it’s like to be a real NASCAR driver as you strap in and hold on while racing around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway at speeds in excess of 200 mph.

Cirque de Soleil
This French Canadian circus troupe is everywhere, with shows ranging from O, the acrobatic water spectacular to Love, the innovative tribute to the Beatles. And it’s a must see. Watch as amazing feats of strength, acrobatics and humor will leave you in awe and stitches. Shows can be a bit pricey, at up to $165 a ticket, but trust us when we say it’s well worth it.
