ABOUT THE GEORGIAN TERRACE HOTEL

The Georgian Terrace is one of Atlanta’s traditional “grand dames” – a classic, historic and elegant hotel which came into its own at the beginning of the 20th century, with floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, and white marble columns. There’s lots of history here – the hotel was the site of the premiere gala of Gone with the Wind in 1939 and played host to notables such as President Calvin Coolidge, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Clark Gable, and Tallulah Bankhead just to name a few. And today it’s no less grand – and is one of the few stately historic buildings in a “sea of modern” amidst Atlanta’s skyline. Ideally located just steps from downtown Atlanta and directly across from the historic Fox Theater, the Georgian Terrace is luxury at its best, built in a “Beaux-Art” style intended to evoke the architecture of Paris, France. Beautiful area views can be enjoyed from the roof-top swimming pool and sundeck and from the terrace of the Livingstone, the hotel’s award-winning restaurant. Guest rooms are beautifully appointed and feature complimentary wireless Internet access. Keep up with your routine at the state-of-the-art fitness center. There’s also a fully-equipped business center in case you need to stay in touch with the office. The hotel is ideally located on Peachtree Street, within blocks of fine dining, entertainment, and cultural institutions.
